Teenagers beaten in Reims: three children arrested, Schiappa says video "unspeakable"

The scene was full of violence. Because of the many crashes, it means heartache, humiliation. And because the victim was a 14 year old girl. In front of her, her son's lifelong cruelty. The attack, in front of a university in Reims, was filmed by a third teenager and posted on Snapchat. The video that was shot and shared hundreds of times was accompanied by collective outrage.

Marlène Schiappa, Minister for the Citizenship Delegation, asked witnesses at the scene to contact the national police and citizens to stop accompanying them "in spreading this violent content".

The study, which was entrusted to the security department, was open to "severe violence" and "recording and disseminating the facts of aggravated violence." The study "in progress" is Wednesday morning, according to Reims Republican prosecutor Matthieu Bourrette.

Throughout this morning, Marlène Schiappa said that the police had been able to identify the main perpetrators of this case. The alleged beatings, videos and broadcasts were arrested and detained. Hearing this Wednesday, the first person to become aware of the facts "without difficulty" generated "derogatory countermeasures", according to police sources.
